How Many Households Are Like Yours?

Learning Outcomes
Sociology (KS5/Undergraduate)- Compare the statistical composition of households and the evolution of these demographics over time
Functionality
The asset presents the user with an overview showing the different types of primary residents in the USA, and asks the user to select one that matches their household. It then drills down to the details of that primary resident, enabling the user to add other members to the household. When the user adds members (or, on selection of a predefined family type), details appear about that type. For example, the number of households like it are shown along with the total percentage of all households. Across the bottom of the screen are three charts. One is an area chart showing the growth of that household type over time, the second is a bar chart showing racial distribution, and the third is a bar chart showing a comparison of income for that household type to others.
